Need a LAF?

Any assignment not turned in when checked in class or collected is considered late. If a student does not have the assignment on the due date, the student will be given a Late Assignment Form (LAF) to fill out as to why he/she did not have the assignment. The LAF must be returned signed by a parent/guardian. A student will have ONE free pass in each class per nine weeks in which he/she can bring in the missing assignment a class period late for full credit. After this free pass is used, any other missing assignments can be turned the next class period for half credit (50%). After the second class period, late assignments will not be accepted. If the student does not get a parent/guardian signature, the student will forfeit the credit option and receive a ZERO for the assignment. For projects, 25% will be deducted for each DAY it is late. After four days, the project will not be accepted and a ZERO will go in the gradebook.
